Distribution of White Kerosene at subsidised rate to fishermen for fishing purpose: An amount of Rs.100 crore is earmarked for providing subsidy on White Kerosene distributed to fishermen for fishing purpose@ Rs. 25/- per litre. Matsyafed is facilitating the setting up of kerosene bunks in coastal districts in collaboration with Government owned Oil companies. 12 Kerosene Bunks have been completed out of 13 proposed in all coastal districts. The subsidy is given to the card holders through Direct Bank Transfer System. A data base of all permit holders is prepared with the aid of National Informatics Centre.
